Brian de la Houssaye joined Wintrust Commercial Finance’s direct originations group as senior vice president of business development. He will be located in WCF’s Frisco, TX headquarters, focusing on direct originations in the south central region and will join the national team led by Joe Thompson, executive vice president and chief operating officer.
“I am very happy that Brian has joined our team,” said Thompson. “He has excelled in every role throughout his career. I cannot think of an industry that Brian has not financed. His energy is infectious. Having worked with him previously, I know Brian will do a great job and be a model of how we want to grow our direct salesforce.”
De la Houssaye brings 36 years of commercial finance experience to WCF, including positions at Cargill, Verizon, Bank of America and JP Morgan Chase. Before joining the team, he was vice president of direct originations at AIG Investments.
“It’s a very exciting time for our business and customers,” said Thompson. “Wintrust has provided everything we need to be a best-in-class commercial asset finance business. We are off to a tremendous start. It all begins with having the best people and I’m proud of this team.”

Brian, My name is Tolbert Chisum and I am one OF the founders of North Shore Community Bank in Wilmette and also Wintrust. I moved to Beaumont six years ago and work with the Crenshaw family, owners of The Modern Group and a number of manufacturing subsidiaries around the country. I will be in Chicago attending the board meeting of Wintrust Bank in Skokie. I have been with Wintrust for 25 years. Casey Crenshaw said you contacted him earlier this week about your interest in talking to us regarding commercial financing. I work with Casey and MG Finance along with Will Crenshaw, Casey’s father and my best friend for over fifty years. I would be delighted to set up a conference call with you and Jim Reddinger of MG Finance to discuss possibilities and opportunities to work together. If you have plans to be in Beaumont or SE Texas. we will host a meeting so you can meet our management. In the interim, let’s have a conference call. I look forward to meeting you. My cell is 847-533-1255 and my office is 409-951-4056. Jim lives in Denver and is our CFO at MG Finance. Be well. Tolbert
