In its Q4/17 activity report, Air Lease noted that its fleet was comprised of 244 owned aircraft and 50 managed aircraft as of December 31, 2017.
During Q4/17, Air Lease delivered eight new aircraft including two Boeing 787-9s, two Boeing 737-8 MAXs, two Airbus A321neos and two Airbus A350-900s. The company also delivered four used Boeing 737-800s purchased in the secondary market.
As far as sales go, Air Lease sold two aircraft including a Boeing 737-800 to Blackbird Capital II and one Airbus A330-200 to a third party. It also received insurance proceeds related to the insured loss of two Boeing 737-800 aircraft.
Additionally, Air Lease issued $1.1 billion of unsecured senior notes including $600 million 2.750% unsecured senior notes due 2023 and $500 million 3.625% unsecured senior notes due 2027.
