2021 Monitor NextGen Profile: Emma Bambury

Emma Bambury is a project manager for First American Equipment Finance’s vendor financing division. In the more than four years Bambury has been with First American, she has left an enormous impact on the vendor financing division and First American’s operations department. Since Bambury joined the vendor financing division, annual originations have gone from $12 million to more than $120 million.

Bambury manages several vendor relationships and many of the division’s most high-profile lessees. Her deep understanding of contracts and lease structures have allowed her to play a pivotal role in developing and executing on customized vendor programs. Her ability to build relationships has helped those programs thrive.

Internally, Bambury has been invaluable in developing processes and systems unique to First American’s vendor offering and supporting the rest of the project management team. In addition, Bambury serves on many companywide committees and process improvement projects, including establishing First American’s new values, serving on the customer experience team and supporting multiple client survey overhauls. Bambury is also a leader in the operations department, training new colleagues on master leases, the credit process and the funding process.

Bambury is currently pursuing her MBA at the University of Rochester. She is a FA Scholar recipient, earning support from First American toward her admission costs. She also has earned her Certified Lease & Finance Professional designation, demonstrating the highest level of equipment finance knowledge and skills.

Bambury also has received many company awards, most notably being named a finalist in 2019 for the company’s highest honor, the Chairman’s Award. She also received a company excellence award in both 2017 and 2018. Bambury regularly demonstrates First American’s values, receiving nominations throughout the years for the CEO’s “BESTIE” awards.
