by Vol. 48 No. 3 2021

Amy Majeskie,
Senior Vice President and Relationship Manager,
Wells Fargo Distribution Finance

Amy Majeskie stepped into the equipment leasing business in 2004 by joining CitiCapital’s Construction Finance group based out of New Jersey. Since then, she has held roles in inside sales, direct field sales, syndications and program management at several lending institutions, including Wells Fargo, which she joined in 2013.

Today, Majeskie is a senior vice president and relationship manager for several programs within Wells Fargo Distribution Finance and responsible for more than $700 million in new business volume. Majeskie oversees new sales processes, workflow implementations and business initiatives. Her leadership style focuses on helping employees identify and correct inefficiencies and overcome impediments. She finds joy in helping employees succeed.

Cost-cutting measures have caused many in the leasing and banking industry to cut back on employee development programs. Despite this trend, Majeskie finds value in expanding career and skill development opportunities through mentorship and training. She believes that it is important for companies to value employee expertise and continue to foster learning and development by offering deeper management training and focusing on talent retention.
