Position Description:

ECS Financial Services is looking for accountants with 3-10 years of experience in the equipment leasing industry. Candidates must be computer literate with prior experience in lease accounting, lease portfolio management and financial statement preparation. Tax preparation experience is a plus.

Responsibilities:

• Assist clients with monthly lease accounting and portfolio management
• Preparation of account reconciliations and analysis
• Supervise staff on various lease servicing engagements including:
  • Review of transaction bookings, re-writes, & terminations
  • Month end processing & reporting Assist clients and staff on lease software setup
  • Assist with preparation of full disclosure financial statements
  • Assist with review of monthly sales tax filings Preparation of book to tax lease reconciliations
  • Development of one-on-one relationships with clients

Requirements:

Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, CPA certification is a plus Knowledge of Quickbooks™, Great Plains, Lease software (LeasePlus, Aspire, TurboLease, etc.), Vertex and PTMS experience is a plus Self-motivation and strong work ethic Proficiency in Microsoft Office Strong interpersonal and communication skills
