AerCap delivered the first of six new Boeing 787-9 aircraft on long-term operating leases to EGYPTAIR. The remaining five 787-9s are scheduled for delivery by the end of 2019.
AerCap CEO Aengus Kelly said, “AerCap is proud of its relationship with EGYPTAIR and we are particularly pleased to deliver to them their first Boeing 787 Dreamliner. The introduction of the 787 represents an important milestone in the airline’s development and will enhance their widebody fleet for many years to come. We thank our friends and partners at EGYPTAIR for the confidence they have placed in AerCap and we look forward to delivering the remaining 787s over the course the year.”
