AerCap signed lease agreements for 27 aircraft, including 10 widebody and 17 narrowbody aircraft in Q2/16. In addition, the aircraft lessor purchased six aircraft, including four Boeing 787-9s and two Airbus A350-900s.
AerCap also executed sale transactions for 35 aircraft, including three Airbus A319-100s, eight Airbus A320-200s, an Airbus A321-100, three Airbus A321-200s, two Airbus A330-200s, two Airbus A330-300s, an Airbus A340-600, four Boeing 737NGs, two Boeing 737 classics, five Boeing 767-300ERs and one Boeing 777-200ER from AerCap’s owned portfolio as well as three Boeing 737 classics from AerCap’s managed portfolio.
Additionally, AerCap signed financing transactions for $2 billion in the quarter.
As of June 30, 2016, AerCap’s portfolio consisted of approximately 1,640 aircraft that were either owned, managed or under contract to purchase.
