Aircraft lessor AerCap signed 134 lease agreements, including agreements for 24 widebody aircraft, 62 narrowbody aircraft, 25 engines and 23 helicopters, in Q3/23. The company also signed financing transactions for approximately $3.9 billion during the quarter.

Additionally, AerCap completed 33 purchases for 18 new aircraft (including for 14 Airbus A320neo family aircraft, two Airbus A330neos and three Boeing 737 MAX aircraft for AerCap’s owned aircraft portfolio), nine engines and five helicopters. AerCap also executed 52 sale transactions for 37 engines, three helicopters and 12 aircraft, including three Airbus A320 family aircraft, two Airbus A320neo family aircraft, three Airbus A330s, two Boeing 757s and one Boeing 737NG from its owned aircraft portfolio and one aircraft from its managed aircraft portfolio.

AerCap also repurchased approximately 20 million shares, at an average price of $58.25 per share, for a total of approximately $1.2 billion in the quarter.
