In Q2/18, Air Lease’s fleet was comprised of 271 owned aircraft and 49 managed aircraft, with commitments to acquire a total of 358 new aircraft for delivery through 2023.

Air Lease purchased 18 aircraft during the quarter, including 14 new aircraft delivered from it’s orderbook, which featured six Boeing 737 MAX 8s, three Boeing 787-9s, three Airbus A321neos and two Airbus A350-900s. The other four were incremental, young Airbus A321-200s which were leased to an existing Air Lease customer

Approximately half of the quarter’s orderbook deliveries and incremental purchases occurred in the last two weeks of June, although no aircraft sales took place in the second quarter.
