Air Lease Signs Agreement for Two Boeings with Siam Air Transport

Air Lease entered into lease agreements with Siam Air Transport (Thailand) for two used Boeing 737-800 aircraft. The aircraft will be delivered in the fourth quarter of 2015.

“We are very pleased to announce this lease placement with Siam Air Transport, a new customer for ALC in Asia. These aircraft are a key addition to Siam Air Transport’s fleet as they continue to expand their route network in the region,” said Jie Chen, Air Lease’s executive vice president and managing director, Asia.

Siam Air Transport was founded in 2013 and is based at Bangkok’s Don Mueang Airport. The airline currently operates two Boeing 737-300s to three destinations in Hong Kong and China.
