Aircraft Leasing Funds Lose Investors as Valuations Plummet



The Wall Street Journal reported that investors have gone sour on specialty aircraft leasing funds.

The funds, which lease aircraft to air carriers after purchasing them from manufacturers like Airbus or Boeing, have stopped returning dividends in the wake of COVID-19, according to the Journal.

The Journal noted that the collective funds listed on the London Stock Exchange have lost half of their value since the end of 2019.
