Aviation Capital Promotes Baker to Chief Revenue Officer

Aircraft operating lessor Aviation Capital Group promoted Tom Baker to executive vice president and chief revenue officer.

In his role as chief revenue officer, Baker will further integrate ACG’s focus on serving its customers and developing new growth opportunities for the business by driving closer alignment among the Sales/Marketing, Trading and Technical teams. These changes will strengthen ACG’s ability to focus on customer needs while enhancing revenue opportunities. He will also continue to oversee ACG’s Aircraft Financing Solutions group.

Because of these changes, the chief commercial officer position has been eliminated.

“Tom has been integral in the creation of our innovative new Aircraft Financing Solutions group which allows ACG as an operating lessor to also offer a financing solution for airlines in addition to operating leases. I’m confident that these organizational changes will help facilitate the acceleration of our strategy of providing innovative solutions to our airline customers and for continued profitable growth,” said Khanh T. Tran, president and CEO of ACG.

Founded in 1989, Aviation Capital Group is a full-service aircraft asset manager with approximately 500 owned, managed and committed aircraft as of December 31, 2018, which are leased to approximately 90 airlines in approximately 45 countries.
