Bloomberg: GE’s Dismal Performance Puts Dividend at Risk

In 2017, General Electric shares have fallen 32%, Bloomberg reported, noting that the company has hit its roughest patch since the financial crisis.

Bloomberg also noted new CEO John Flannery’s recent comments about GE’s disappointing performance and series of high-level departures illustrates just how difficult things have become.

Bloomberg said if Flannery’s plan to reverse the course of the company doesn’t work, GE may have to cut its dividend for only the third time in company history.
