Boeing, Kuwait Airways Finalize 10 777-300ER Order at $3.3B



The Chicago Sun Times reported Boeing and Kuwait Airways finalized an order for 10 jets, a deal valued at $3.3 billion based on list prices.

Kuwait Airways ordered 10 777-300ERs. The tentative order was announced in November.

“Kuwait Airways has plans to renew its fleet as well as expand its operations and the 777-300ER is a perfect airplane for our strategy,” Rasha Al Roumi, Kuwait Airways CEO, said in a news release.

Ray Conner, president and CEO of Boeing Commercial Airplanes, said the aerospace industry in the Middle East “continues to enjoy a phenomenal growth and we are proud to be part of that growth.”
