Bombardier Business Aircraft announced the creation of a worldwide sales team with the Learjet 70 and Learjet 75 aircraft as its singular focus. Mike Fahey was appointed vice president, Learjet Aircraft Sales, assuming overall responsibility and accountability for the Learjet program worldwide.

Fahey began his career in 1981 as sales director for South East Asia and was assigned positions of increasing responsibility over the years. In 2010, he was appointed vice president of Sales for Learjet and Pre-Owned aircraft.

“We are proud of Learjet’s legacy and remain committed to its continued success,” said Peter Likoray, senior vice president, Sales, Bombardier Business Aircraft. “Mike is an industry veteran with a proven track record and, together with his team, will bring a singular focus to a strong and legendary brand with more than 2200 aircraft operating around the world.

“Learjet 70 and Learjet 75 aircraft are key pillars of Bombardier Business Aircraft’s industry-leading portfolio,” Likoray added. “They offer the performance, operating cost and comfort advantages that have become synonymous with Learjet and Bombardier these past decades.”

Bombardier also announced that its pre-owned aircraft sales activities would be led going forward by Peter Bromby, newly appointed regional vice president of Pre-Owned Aircraft. Bromby brings over 20 years of experience in the aviation sales industry.

Since acquiring the Learjet Corporation, Bombardier has sought to revitalize the brand and the product line, bringing to market seven new models. The latest addition to the first family of business jets are the Learjet 70 and Learjet 75 aircraft.
