Citi Names New Leader of Asset-Based and Transitional Finance



Bloomberg reported that Citigroup named Shane Azzara the successor to Shapleigh Smith as head of asset-based and transitional finance. According to Bloomberg, Smith will retire in May.

Azzara was most recently a managing director at Citi, a role he has served in since 2017, according to Bloomberg, which noted that Azzara’s tenure with the company stretches back almost three decades.
