DLL Names VP of Commercial Finance for the U.S.

DLL promoted Damian Purves to vice president of commercial finance for the U.S., effective October 1, 2016.

Purves is now responsible for the management and strategic expansion of DLL’s commercial finance portfolio in the U.S., specifically within the healthcare and office technology verticals. He is tasked with ensuring the optimization of local program performance as well as the achievement of sales and new business targets.

“Commercial finance is a core offering of our global vendor finance business,” said Mark McGovern, senior vice president of commercial finance at DLL. “Damian’s extensive background in vendor program management will help us further align our product offerings and enhance our ability to provide a full suite of innovative, tailored working capital solutions to vendors, dealers and resellers.”

Purves has more than 25 years of experience in the equipment finance industry and has spent the last nine at DLL, managing global partnerships with leading technology providers. He was instrumental in supporting the development of leasing capabilities and commercial strategies to assist multiple vendors with their entry into new markets. Prior to DLL, Purves held sales and management positions at GE Capital and IKON Office Solutions.

“I am eager to get started in this new role,” Purves said. “I look forward to driving collaboration among sales reps and program managers in order to strengthen and expand the penetration of commercial finance programs within DLL’s healthcare and office technology portfolios.”
