Barry Edwards and Peter Geronazzo joined Independent Bank as senior vice presidents, commercial relationship managers on the Colorado Springs area commercial lending teams. Both lenders will support the company’s continued growth along the Colorado Front Range.

Edwards is a 30-year bank veteran, with experience in audit and asset-based lending and commercial business development at Wells Fargo Bank in Colorado Springs. He is a previous board member for the YMCA.

Geronazzo has over 20 years of experience in the financial services industry, with expertise in banking, investments and insurance. Prior to joining Independent Bank, he worked in the Business Banking Unit at Wells Fargo Bank. Prior to his banking career, Geronazzo spent a few years playing professional hockey in Europe and North America.
