Equipment Finance Cares California Event Recap



Equipment Finance Cares held its first event of 2024 last week in Huntington Beach, CA. More than 40 equipment finance professionals attended, representing 28 different organizations. “Thank you, Blue Street Capital, for hosting our first event of 2024,” Jesse Johnson, president of Consult Disrupt and founder of Equipment Finance Cares, said. “A big thank you to all who attended and for the continued support of all our EF Cares sponsors.”

Jaimie Haver, CLFP from Happy Manufacturing chaired the event. Lisa Whitehead, CLFP, vice president of sales/service at First Foundation Bank moderated the human side of equipment finance panel, which featured David Rhoads, CEO of Blue Street Capital; Don Hansen, CEO of Regents Capital; and Brent Hall, CLFP, vice president at Alliance Funding Group.

Immediately following the panel discussion, the event’s featured speaker, RJ Grimshaw, CEO of ABLE Leadership, led an intrapreneur leadership workshop with the group.

The event showcased foundations including Love Life Now, Operation Open Water, Tam Ky Project, Warriors for Work, Mickey Riley Foundation, Equipment Leasing & Finance Foundation and the Chris Walker Education Fund.

Blue Street Capital hosted a networking reception that concluded the event.
