Equipment Finance Cares’ First Charity Golf Tournament Attracts More Than 100 Industry Professionals

Equipment Finance Cares held its first annual charity golf tournament last week at the Rockland Country Club in Sparkill, NY. More than 100 equipment finance professionals representing 54 different organizations attended the event.

“We were excited with the great turnout that we had at inaugural event,” Jesse Johnson, president of Consult Disrupt and founder of Equipment Finance Cares, said. “Shawn Arnone, Blair Dawson and the rest of the golf committee did an amazing job putting on our first golf event to raise money for the newly formed EF Cares Charitable Fund.”

Equipment Finance Cares is a 501(c)(3) organization that has hosted more than 400 equipment finance professionals from 150 different organizations since its inception in 2021. Equipment Finance Cares has showcased and donated more than $60,000 to 30 different charities and foundations.

The EF Cares Charitable Fund was created to support charitable organizations on their days of giving and during special events while also fulfilling one-off requests to support members in the equipment finance community.

The next Equipment Finance Cares event will be hosted by Syndifi on Sept. 19 in Chicago. Contact Johnson if you are interested in hosting, being on a panel or sponsoring a future event.
