Equipment Finance Cares (EF Cares) held its fourth event of 2023 this last week in Chicago. More than 50 equipment finance professionals attended, representing 33 different organizations.
“The Syndifi team was an amazing host to our first EF Cares Chicago event,” Jesse Johnson, president of Consult Disrupt and founder of Equipment Finance Cares, said. “A big thank you to all that attended and for the continued support of all our EF Cares sponsors.”
The program featured a best practices panel moderated by Rick Remiker from The Alta Group, including Mike Jones from First Citizens Bank, Nancy Robles from Eastern Funding, RJ Grimshaw from Unifi Equipment Finance and Debra Devassy Babu from Darcy & Devassy PC.
Immediately following the panel discussion, the events featured speaker, Hilary Bilbrey, co-founder of The PEQ Performance Consulting, gave a powerful and entertaining positive intelligence workshop.
The foundations showcased during the event included: Love Life Now, The Equipment Leasing and Finance Foundation, the Chris Walker Educational Fund, Operation New Uniform, EB Research, Big Brothers and Big Sisters of Chicago and Blessed Sacrament Youth Center.
Syndifi and NEFA hosted a networking reception that concluded the event.
“It’s great to see the EF community focused on giving back,” Craig Shipley
“It was great to see so many industry leaders at various firms within the equipment finance industry come together to share their views on current events while promoting amazing charities that have direct connections to the industry. One of a kind type of gathering,” Kevin O’Connor, Beacon Funding
“Hilary has relevant insights for companies to adopt and make their workplaces better,” Jeff Bilbrey, Leasepath
The next Equipment Finance Cares event will be on Wednesday, November 15th in Scottsdale, AZ and is hosted by Ascentium Capital.
