Equipment Finance’s Highly-Regarded Leadership Development Program, STRIPES, Launches 4th Cohort



STRIPES Leadership Program, the professional and personal leadership development program designed to challenge and inspire best-in-class leaders within the equipment finance industry, will launch its fourth cohort today.

Participants in STRIPES’ fourth cohort will begin their leadership development journey in person in Philadelphia with the Three-Day Breakthrough Intensive Program, facilitated with STRIPES’ educational partner, Gap International. The program instills the practices of breakthrough thinking, removing barriers, dispelling limited mindsets and revealing blind spots. Every STRIPES participant completes the three-day program by creating a breakthrough project within their accountability at their respective organization.

“We find that beginning the program in person is extremely impactful,” Blair Dawson, STRIPES’ executive director and general manager, said. “Our previous cohort formed meaningful relationships, which show up throughout the program, by spending three days together, experiencing the true meaning and impact of breakthrough. We have high expectations that our fourth cohort will do the same.”

Participants in STRIPES’ fourth cohort will soon be diving deep into Master Talks and Workshops on various leadership topics delivered by recognized industry leaders and best-in-class leadership experts. In addition, STRIPES is introducing five new Master Talks delivered by the following leaders:

  • Jim Kelly, Former Leader at Wells Fargo Vendor Financial Services
  • Will Perry, President of Regions Equipment Finance
  • Joan Sabott, Director of Leadership and Organization Development at Amur
  • Dave Normandin, President and CEO at Wintrust Specialty Finance
  • A panel featuring Linda Redding, Managing Director and Head of Equipment Finance at JP Morgan Commercial Banking; Bill Verhelle, CEO at QuickFi; Howard Shiebler, President of Crossroads Equipment Lease & Finance; Ellen Comeaux, Senior Vice President and Commercial Division Leader at TIAA Bank; and Adam Warner, President of Key Equipment Finance

STRIPES participants will be challenged, inspired, and will ultimately develop into the best and brightest leaders prepared to create the future of the equipment finance industry.
