First American Doubles Future Leaders of Manufacturing Scholarship Fund

First American Manufacturing Finance increased the funding of its manufacturing industry scholarship to $3,000. The scholarship aims to support college students looking to get into the industry.

College students looking to bring new thinking and innovation to the manufacturing industry may apply for the Future Leaders of Manufacturing Scholarship through March 31, 2019.

In its second year, the scholarship will be awarded to a college student pursuing a degree related to the manufacturing industry. It is aimed in particular at students studying engineering, manufacturing technology, CAD drafting and tool design and robotics.

“College students are the future innovators who will drive the manufacturing industry forward,” said David Neighbour, First American senior vice president. “The First American Manufacturing Finance scholarship is designed to help a future contributor obtain an education that will help improve our economy, create leading innovations, and grow the manufacturing industry.”

Scholarship applicants must submit an essay about how they plan to use their studies to become a future leader in the manufacturing industry. More details can be found at the scholarship website.

First American Manufacturing Finance is part of City National Bank and is ranked among the largest equipment finance companies in the United States.
