Fleet Advantage Names Flynn VP of Sustainability

Fleet Advantage announced it enhanced its commitment toward driving environmental stewardship in the private fleet industry by naming Fran Flynn vice president of Sustainability, Marketing and Community Relations.

Flynn was previously the company’s vice president of Marketing, and now has the added responsibility of building environmentally-conscious programs and initiatives to help Fleet Advantage and its private fleet clients strive toward a more sustainable industry.

Beginning her tenure in the truck industry in 1990, Flynn has been instrumental in raising environmental and social sustainability awareness at Fleet Advantage since the company’s inception in 2008. Under her guidance, the company has instituted reporting and analytics that help the transportation industry identify opportunities to reduce its carbon footprint and increase environmental stewardship.

“The transportation industry as a whole can derive huge benefits from better understanding the link between environmental stewardship and economic sustainability. Corporate fleets have a responsibility to their communities and citizens who live in surrounding areas where they operate to incorporate policies that reduce emissions.” said Brian Holland, president of Fleet Advantage. “Fran is extremely knowledgeable and passionate regarding these issues and will continue to oversee the development of resources that encourage corporate fleets to enact fleet strategies that promote environmental consciousness.”
