FNB Appoints Cooper Manager of Diversity and Inclusion

F.N.B. and its banking subsidiary, First National Bank, appointed Cassandra Cooper manager of diversity and inclusion. In this role, Cooper will work with the company’s leadership team, diversity council and lines of business on the ongoing strategic development and execution of the company’s internal and customer- and community-facing diversity and inclusion efforts. She will report to Brent Semachko, who was recently promoted to director of corporate responsibility.

Cooper has 20 years of experience, having most recently served as manager of the center for engagement and inclusion at UPMC. She is a certified strategic human resources business partner and speaks on the topic of diversity and inclusion at national and regional levels.

“FNB’s dedication to promoting inclusion and socioeconomic equality is evident in its products and services, culture and community involvement,” Cooper said. “And I look forward to taking an active role in continuing this important work.”

“To best serve our customers, communities and team members, it is critical that we continue finding new and innovative ways to advance our longstanding commitment to diversity and inclusion within our company and in the regions where we operate,” Vincent J. Delie Jr., chairman, president and CEO of F.N.B. and First National Bank, said. “Cassandra’s experience with diversity and inclusion efforts and as a strategic business partner will help ensure we are continuing to develop initiatives and elevate opportunities that support inclusion in all that we do.”
