Food Logistics Names Fleet Advantage’s Holland, Rickette and Derival Rock Stars of the Supply Chain

Food Logistics named Fleet Advantage’s Brian Holland (president and CEO, John Rickette (vice president of portfolio and manager of the company’s transaction management team) and Tracy Derival (marketing assistant) as three of its 2024 Rock Stars of the Supply Chain Award winners.

Food Logistics’ 2024 Rock Stars of the Supply Chain awards recognize the top 100 influential individuals in four distinct categories within the cold food industry whose achievements, hard work and vision have shaped the global cold food supply chain.

Receiving awards in the lifetime achievement category, Holland and Rickette both have more than 10 years of experience in supply chain and logistics. With Holland overseeing Fleet Advantage’s organizational direction, the company has exceeded $1 billion in lease originations.

Acting as a staunch advocate in ensuring the cold food industry pays closer attention to different needs of varying individuals, especially since logistics and transportation organizations depend on recruitment and retention to grow and prosper, Holland has invested significantly in Fleet Advantage’s employees by fostering a working culture that supports promotion from within. He helped the company and its employees win more than a dozen professional awards over the last year celebrating their accomplishments, including Food Logistics and Supply & Demand Chain Executive’s 2023 Top Software & Technology Provider Award, which spotlights new-to-market software and technology solutions designed to provide automation, efficiency and visibility to the supply chain space.

Managing the use and implementation of Fleet Advantage’s applied technologies, analytics and programs, such as EXchangeIT, the Sale-Leaseback Program and the proprietary ATLAAS (Advanced Truck Lifecycle Administrative Analytics Software) platform, Rickette has offered a wealth of industry experience and knowledge to the company’s top corporate cold food fleet clients, where his many years of experience as a transportation and leasing professional along with his financial operational wherewithal have resulted in sales growth within the cold chain and other verticals with transportation fleets.

While being a younger professional in the industry, Derival has excelled in educating and spreading awareness of critical topics to transportation and logistics, as her more than 160 internal videos created for Fleet Advantage have driven the company’s concept research development. Selected in the Rising Stars category, her creative thinking and unwavering attention to detail in the implementation of Fleet Advantage’s marketing initiatives to help promote the company’s fleet management and supply chain solutions has even been recognized in previous award recognitions, such as Supply & Demand Chain Executive’s 2023 Women in Supply Chain Award. Also, as an active member of the Women in Trucking Association and Women in Manufacturing Association, Derival constantly advocates for women in the transportation and logistics industries, setting a foundation for diversity in all levels of the supply chain network.

“On behalf of the entire company, we are proud of Brian, John and Tracy for their shared commitment to making a positive impact beyond Fleet Advantage, acting as the backbone to the advancement and adoption of our resilient cold food supply chain solutions,” Katerina Jones, chief marketing officer of Fleet Advantage, said. “Whether it’s being recognized as a Lifetime Achiever or a Rising Star, each go above and beyond in their roles to enhance efficiency and navigate supply chain disruptions, and we cannot thank them enough for their continued excellence. Our leader Brian stands out particularly, as his actions are characterized by a commitment to our employee development, a focus on industry-wide advocacy and a dedication to providing innovative solutions for our clients. This sets the company up for success across the board.”

Holland, Rickette and Derival will each be profiled in Food Logistics’ Jan/Feb 2024 print issue.
