FORTUNE Names First American a Top Workplace for Millenials Again

FORTUNE and Great Place to Work named First American Equipment Finance as one of the 100 Best Workplaces for Millennials in the U.S. for the second year in a row.

“Early career professionals drive our business strategy,” said Alan Sikora, CEO of First American Equipment Finance. “Our team is ambitious, energetic and technologically savvy. It is essential that we have a workplace that enables them to achieve their personal and professional aspirations.”

First American Equipment Finance earned this accolade for the first time in 2015. FORTUNE and Great Place to Work have also ranked First American among the 50 Best Workplaces for Recent College Graduates, 20 Great Workplaces in Financial Services and 50 Best Workplaces for Giving Back. First American has similarly been ranked by Entrepreneur as one of the 25 Best Large Company Cultures and No. 2 among the Best Companies to Work for in New York by Best Companies Group.

The 100 Best Workplaces for Millennials recognition was based on the evaluations of nearly 90,000 millennial-aged employees (born in 1981 or later) who rated their organizations on 58 workplace quality questions. Employees considered the sincerity of managers’ support for their personal and professional lives, transparency, work/life balance, the meaningfulness of their work and other factors. Millennials’ anonymous responses resulted in a total score for each company, which was compared to the benchmark for organizations of that size. Companies needed to employ at least 50 millennials and achieve a 95% confidence level to be eligible.
