FTR: Class 8 Truck Orders ‘Stay Solid’ in April



According to a report from FTR Intelligence, preliminary Class 8 net orders for April of 23,600 units were up 77% compared to one year ago.

FTR noted current order activity suggests that better freight conditions can be reasonably expected in the second half of the year.

FTR said Class 8 orders for the past six months now annualize to 262,000 units.
