Intrepid Aviation’s board of managers appointed Doug Winter to be chief executive officer. Winter is the current president and CCO.
Winter joined Intrepid in 2015, bringing 30 years of global industry experience. Prior to Intrepid, he served in roles in aircraft leasing at Octagon Aviation, AWAS and GECAS. He began his career with McDonnell Douglas in 1985.
“We are very confident that Doug’s deep industry knowledge and experience is ideally suited to drive the next phase of our business development,” commented Gregg Zeitlin, co-founder and senior managing director of Reservoir Capital Group. “With Doug, the company has a very experienced leader and world class commercial talent,” said Eric Hoffman, managing director at Centerbridge Partners.
In addition to this appointment, Mike Lungariello, CFO, was appointed to serve on the company’s board of managers as a director along with Winter.
“We have a terrific team here at Intrepid and, working together with Mike, I am confident of our ability to deliver strong business performance and outcomes for our sponsors,” Winter said.
