Ivory Consulting’s Martin Klotzman, Marketing and Operations manager, was elected to serve a two-year term on the ELFA’s Service Providers Business Council Steering Committee.
The Service Providers Business Council Steering Committee is one of five primary constituent bodies at ELFA. The committees provide critical input on the direction of the association and serve as a bridge between the membership and the board of directors and staff. Committee members are elected by the Business Council membership for a term of two years on a staggered basis.
The Service Providers Business Council Steering Committee represents organizations and firms providing a variety of related services to the members of the other four Business Councils. Associated company types include: accounting, collections, law, consulting, software, equipment management, university/government, executive recruiters, insurance, nonprofits/associations and publishers.
The committee analyzes the needs of companies in its segment and recommends to the Board how to meet those needs.
“I’m honored to have been elected to the committee,” said Klotzman. “Becoming involved with the association early in my career is one of the best things I could have done, and I encourage anyone new to the industry to do the same.”
For the past four years, Klotzman has served on the Emerging Talent Advisory Council where he focused on educating and attracting new people to the Association. He organized a number of regional events to give younger industry members an opportunity to network, connect and learn from industry leaders.
For over 35 years, Ivory Consulting has provided equipment lease and loan software, software customizations and consulting services for the equipment finance industry.
