Kurland Named Director of Business Development for Allstate Leasing

Allstate Leasing hired Charlene Kurland as business relationship officer focusing on business development. In this role, Kurland will focus on equipment leasing for small businesses.

“Charlene is a proven team leader who understands how to deepen business relationships and drive profitable results,” said Brent Baron, president of Allstate Leasing. “Her extensive experience working with small business as a commercial lender and relationship manager makes her a perfect fit for this role. We look forward to seeing all she accomplishes at Allstate.”

“I am excited to join this innovative and accomplished company,” Kurland said. “I know I will learn so much from my new colleagues, and I look forward to making an impact on Allstate’s business direction.”

Kurland joins Allstate Leasing with more than 10 years of experience in business development. Most recently, she served as a business relationship manager for SECU, a not-for-profit cooperative-style bank, where she developed new business relationships focused on both commercial and residential real estate lending, as well as investment and owner-occupied. Prior to SECU, Kurland worked for Howard Bank where she served as vice president of business banking. In addition, she was assistant vice president of business banking for PNC for more than seven years.

Kurland has been recognized over the years for her leadership in business. In 2009, she was recognized by PNC Bank as a top performer. A year later, the company awarded her the Service Excellence Award and, in 2011, she was recognized with the Achievement award.
