Monitor Launches New Website

Xander Media Group announced the launch of the latest version of its website, monitordaily. The new design incorporates the latest technology to support new, easier-to-use navigation tools and architecture to support a “hybrid responsive” feature that adapts website content to the device of choice with no regard to size or type.

Additional features include the launch of a new opinion section to facilitate engagement by providing monitordaily website visitors with direct access to some of the thought leaders in the industry.

Xander Media Group president Jerry Parrotto, said, “We see this new feature as a way to connect our website visitors with industry leaders and specialists who will be asked to express their views and opinions on a myriad of topics having mostly to do with mainstream activities that are at the core of running an equipment finance business.” Parrotto added, “Our stable of contributors runs deep because of our Monitor publication, which puts us in an ideal position to use this platform to facilitate engagement.”

To adapt to the shift in how website visitors view content, the new monitordaily website will use an architecture that adapts to the user’s device of choice. “So whether a desktop with a 21 inch monitor or an iPhone with a 4.5 inch viewing area, the content will be delivered in a device-friendly format,” Parrotto said.

The new monitordaily website will also debut new user-friendly features such as easier navigation, full access to existing repurposed features and articles that have appeared in the Monitor print publications, and new content that is exclusive to online viewing.

“It certainly took us much longer to make the leap than I first envisioned. It turned out it wasn’t until we got into the nuts and bolts of it that we came to realize how complicated a few of these new features would be to execute,” Parrotto noted. “We tried not to compromise the outcome though there were times when we came close to eliminating important elements in the interest of timing. Looking back, I’m glad we didn’t,” Parrotto said.
