Asset finance consulting and services partnership Invigors EMEA, the European arm of The Alta Group, appointed Kieran O’Brien network member for Ireland.
Formerly operations director at Cisco Capital EMEAR, O’Brien is based out Dublin. After a year working with captive and vendor clients across Europe, O’Brien is moving the business into its next phase of development with the establishment of Invigors Ireland, for which he is the EMEA network member.
O’Brien’s appointment further strengthens Invigors’ vendor and captive finance team in Europe and ensures the firm is well-positioned to support clients in the leasing and asset finance market both in Ireland and across Europe.
“I am delighted to accept this appointment as an integral member of the Invigors team. Now is the time to position the business in Ireland for its next stage of growth,” O’Brien said. “The European captive and vendor markets are facing major challenges driven by technology and the revolution in financial services, in addition to the economic and political upheavals currently taking place.”
O’Brien has more than 25 years of experience in the sector. In 17 years at Cisco Capital, O’Brien project managed the establishment and development of its captive infrastructure in more than 20 countries in EMEAR and was a board member on 10 of Cisco’s captives.
“Kieran’s wealth of experience and expertise in captive and vendor finance operations has proved to be an asset to the business and our clients,” said Chris Boobyer, senior partner at Invigors. “We are delighted to recognize this through his appointment as network member for Ireland and believe that he will continue to add strength and depth to our capabilities here in EMEA as well as across the wider Alta Group.”
Invigors EMEA, part of The Alta Group, is a consulting and technical services firm providing growth solutions for asset and vehicle finance companies, industry suppliers, manufacturers and captive finance organizations.
