Premier Trailer Leasing, a provider of trailer rental and leasing assets to the shipping and trucking industry, announced it has entered into an agreement to acquire the assets of Vallerie Service Company, a Balitmore, MD-based provider of trailer and container rental and leasing services with nearly 1,200 semi-trailers and 200 containers.

With the acquisition, Premier Trailer Leasing now has more than 29,000 trailers and 26 locations from coast to coast. “This acquisition is an outstanding fit for our company, allowing Premier to better serve our east coast customers. This is a strategic location that puts us in the important Baltimore / Washington DC markets and fills a void we had between Harrisburg, PA and Richmond, VA. We are excited to welcome Vallerie’s employees and customers into our company,” said Jim Aubuchon, Premier’s president and CEO.

Premier Trailer Leasing is owned by Garrison Investment Group, a private equity, credit and asset-based investor headquartered in NY with approximately $3.5 billion of assets under management.
