Republic Bank Appoints Mitchell SVP, Treasurer and Chief Investment Officer



Republic First Bancorp, the parent company of Republic Bank, appointed Francis Mitchell senior vice president, treasurer and chief investment officer.

Mitchell has experience in the banking and finance industry based on his background holding senior positions at several financial institutions. He will report to Mike Harrington, executive vice president and CFO of Republic Bank, and play a role in overseeing and optimizing the bank’s financial performance and further strengthening its position in the market.

Mitchell was most recently with Truist Securities in a depository and capital markets advisory role, where he collaborated closely with community and regional banks. He has a background in asset and liability management, investment portfolio management, strategic finance, capital markets and financial modeling. Mitchell’s previous roles span multiple financial institutions, including Bar Harbor Bank, Webster Bank and TD Bank.
