John D. Rizzi joined The Alta Group as managing director and practice leader for the new Digital Business Advisory Practice, which provides digital business transformation services to the equipment leasing and asset finance industry.

The practice, formerly known as Systems Integration Advisory Services, has been renamed to reflect an increased emphasis on delivering tactical services such as business process assessments, systems re-design and best practices, Alta CEO John C. Deane said.

“Our clients are increasingly asking for tactical solutions to design and implement digitally enhanced operational capabilities,” Deane said. “We are delighted that John is joining Alta. His extensive experience with industry leading lessors is a great fit for the objectives of this important Alta practice, which provides tactical services as well as strategic advice on how technology, operations and marketing processes must converge to become a digital business.”

Rizzi’s 30 years of industry experience includes executive positions at DLL, GE Capital and Heller Financial.
