Sanner Joins Madison Capital to Expand Financing Business

Brad Sanner joined Madison Capital as vice president of business development. He will represent the equipment and vehicle financing company as it expands in the greater Atlanta area.

After more than 20 years of leadership at Regal Bank and Trust and management of the sale of the bank and its holding company to Old Line Bank of Bowie, he remained in a business development role. Then deciding to retire and be near family, Sanner moved to Atlanta.

Sanner then was approached by Brent Baron, Madison’s senior vice president of originations, about joining the company.

“I’ve always gravitated to companies small enough for personal interactions and I most enjoy developing customer relationships and helping companies grow,” said Sanner, who previously worked with Baron at Regal Bank.

Sanner was formerly the chairman and board member of Atlantic Community Bankers Bank in Camp Hill, PA, and managing director and senior vice president of the commercial banking division of Provident Bank of Maryland, now M&T Bank.

Madison’s expansion plans have been underway for the past year. Last month, the company hired a new business development executive in Lubbock, TX, who was appointed to lead business in the South-Central U.S. Baron also points to growth in the Midwest.

“Atlanta is ripe with business growth in practically all industry sectors. Being at the crossroads for north-south truck routes,” Sanner said. “I think of Atlanta as the New York of the South.”

“He is ideally suited for Madison,” Baron said. “[Because he] is very effective at building rapport with people, establishing trust and developing business.”

Based in Owings Mills, MD, Madison Capital has been helping businesses of all sizes finance equipment and vehicles for more than 40 years.
