Sasser Family Holdings Subsidiary Promotes Brooks to VP, Operations

Xced Aviation Services, a subsidiary of Sasser Family Holdings, promoted Bill Brooks to vice president of Operations, Ground Support Equipment.

In his new role, Brooks will relocate from Florida to Illinois to work at Xced Aviation’s Schaumburg-based headquarters. He first joined the company as director of Operations last year.

“I am proud of what we’ve accomplished at Xced during the last two years and the role I’ve played in helping our company become a ground support industry leader,” said Brooks. “I look forward to continuing to be part of a strong, agile team that serves our customers better by anticipating and being responsive to their needs.”

Prior to joining Xced Aviation in 2015, Brooks was a ground support equipment maintenance manager for Spirit Airlines. His 20 years of ground support industry experience includes working as a ground support equipment operations manager and line services manager for Florida-based companies such as JetStream Ground Services and Landmark Aviation.

“Along with the rest of the Xced Aviation Services team, I’m excited to welcome Bill to Schaumburg as he assumes his new leadership role,” said Bill Long, president of Xced Aviation. “I know that Bill’s commitment to delivering superior customer service and expertise will help make us successful well into the future.”

Xced Aviation Services was launched in 2014 as an aviation ground support equipment finance and asset management subsidiary of Sasser Family Holdings.
