Valley Bank Promotes Iadanza to President

Valley Bank promoted Thomas Iadanza to president. In this new role, Iadanza will oversee the bank’s day-to-day operations, including commercial banking, retail banking, digital products, credit, customer experience and financial services.

A 10-year veteran at Valley National Bank, Iadanza was most recently senior executive vice president and chief banking officer. Iadanza is taking over the president role from Ira Robbins, who previously served as president and CEO. Robbins will remain CEO of the bank.

“Tom is an exceptional leader who has played an integral role in Valley’s growth,” Robbins said. “As we continue to expand our capabilities, services and footprint, Tom will drive these efforts and ensure we maintain true to our culture of a relationship bank that delivers service-based results.”

“I am honored that Ira and the board have put their trust in me to help lead Valley forward,” Iadanza said. “During Ira’s tenure as president and CEO, we’ve grown from a bank with approximately $20 billion in assets to one approaching $50 billion with a focused growth plan in place. I am confident that we have the right people and vision to make Valley one of the premier commercial banks in the country and I couldn’t be more excited about our future.”
