Verdant Commercial Capital has hired Travis Burnett as vice president, relationship manager to grow originations in its technology vertical.

In this role, Burnett will concentrate on building relationships with OEMs, distributors and resellers.

“Travis’ background of providing financing for technology vendors, as well as providing financing directly to end-user customers will be a great compliment to what we are building at Verdant,” said Brian Lowe, Verdant’s chief commercial officer. “We are excited to facilitate growth in our technology vertical and continue to help our partners sell more hardware and software through financing.”

Burnett has extensive experience developing vendor finance relationships including joint ventures and private label programs with leading hardware and software vendors. And he will use his experience to support Verdant’s growth plans.
