Vmo Aircraft Leasing appointed Ardy Ghanbar CFO.

Ghanbar joined Vmo Aircraft Leasing from Castelake Aviation, an $8 billion aviation business, where he also served as CFO. Prior to that, Ghanbar was controller for Air Lease and a member of its finance team from its startup through its public offering. He has experience in financial management, business leadership, corporate strategy and organizational buildout.

“Ardy’s impressive background in aircraft leasing with an extensive track record of leading finance, accounting and operations for global organizations will be critical in the next stages of Vmo’s development,” Sean Sullivan, CEO of Vmo Aircraft Leasing, said. “Ardy is known to be a ‘hands-on’ organizational leader and will be an excellent collaborator with our senior executive team.”

Vmo Aircraft Leasing is a commercial aircraft lessor operating through offices in Dublin, San Francisco and Singapore. The company was launched in January 2021 by a team of aviation industry veterans and funds managed by the private equity and credit groups of Ares Management.
