Volvo Heavy Duty Truck Deliveries Rise in July



As part of a total month-over-month growth of 1% in total truck deliveries, Volvo reported 13,205 heavy duty truck deliveries in July, which marks a 3% increase from last year. In July 2014, Volvo delivered 12,870 heavy duty trucks.

The heavy duty truck market has been inching forward for Volvo during 2015 as a whole, with 101,552 trucks delivered through July, which represents a 2% increase over the same time period last year.

Volvo owned Mack Trucks helped the boost in the heavy truck segment, with 10% growth in deliveries overall. The North American market accounted for 1,985 of the 2,189 trucks delivered in the segment. Volvo delivered 4,852 total trucks in North America during July, a 1% increase from the same time last year.
