Wintrust Commercial Finance Adds Ault as SVP/Natl Sales Manager

Craig Ault joined Wintrust Commercial Finance (WCF) as senior vice president and national sales manager.

Ault has more than 30 years of direct sales experience, beginning as an account manager and rising through the ranks to achieve both national and global sales manager roles. He began his career with Burroughs and spent 22 years with CSI Leasing, ultimately becoming the head of global sales and marketing. Most recently, he served as the chief sales and marketing officer at Sertant Capital.

“Craig’s extensive experience and success in direct sales origination will contribute to the continued build out of WCF’s already successful direct origination platform,” said Kirk Phillips, WCF president and CEO. “Craig brings a wealth of experience leading, training, and mentoring highly successful teams in developing and delivering financial solutions to end user clients. We are excited to have him join our team, and I look forward to the role and contribution he will provide as we build out a best-in-class bank-owned equipment finance and leasing company.”

Ault is active within the equipment finance and leasing industry and previously served on the ELFA Independent Middle Market Business Council Steering Committee.

Wintrust is a financial holding company with assets of over $32 billion. The company operates fifteen community bank subsidiaries, with over 160 banking locations located in the greater Chicago and southern Wisconsin market areas, along with various non-bank business units.
