Wintrust Commercial Finance Appoints Mullen Direct Originator for the East Region

Wintrust Commercial Finance, a division of Wintrust Asset Finance, hired equipment finance veteran Mike Mullen as direct originator for its east region. Mullen will report to Keith Tornichia, vice president of new business development and east region manager for Wintrust Commercial Finance. In his role, Mullen will be responsible for direct originations in Wintrust Commercial Finance’s direct lease and loan activities in New England.

Based in Massachusetts, Mullen has spent more than 30 years in the New England equipment finance market. Previously, he held senior sales roles covering New England at Santander, U.S. Bank and GE Capital.

“I look forward to joining Wintrust Commercial Finance’s growing business to offer a fresh source of capital to clients in the New England region,” Mullen said. “WCF’s streamlined organizational structure allows us to be both responsive and nimble while delivering creative financial solutions across a wide range of industries.”

“WCF is extremely excited about Mike Mullen. His equipment finance experience and long-term relationships with his clients will bring an excellent WCF presence to the New England region of the United States,” Tornichia said. “Mike’s commitment to the New England market is second to none, and we are looking forward to a great fit at WCF. In this current lending environment, Mike’s vast product knowledge and years of market experience will surely be leveraged.”
