WSJ: Major Banks Face Exposure from Massive Unfunded Oil Loans



The Wall Street Journal said that the focus as major banks begin announcing earnings this week will be on unfunded loans to energy companies that have not drawn on the credit lines.

The Journal also reported that $147 billion in unfunded loans have been disclosed by 10 of the largest U.S. banks, and most investors didn’t know much about until recently.
