Xavian Insurance Sues Marsh, Boeing, Boeing Capital Over AFIC

According to Insurance Insider, Xavian Insurance has filed suit against Marsh & McLennan Companies, Boeing and Boieng Capital, claiming the companies misappropriated trade secrets to launch the Aircraft Finance Insurance Consortium.

Insurance Insider said that Xavian believes the companies acquired the proprietary information through the appointment of Guy Carpenter as an AFIC intermediary agent and from Marsh’s hiring of Bob Morin from EXIM Bank who, according to court documents, had previously “had access to all of Xavian’s trade secrets, but no permission to use or share [them].”
