American Trucking Associations announced it is reaffirming HELP Inc.’s PrePass services as an endorsed ATA featured product. In addition, HELP Inc. has been named an ATA Corporate Partner.
“ATA and HELP have a common purpose of creating an environment for the trucking industry that is both efficient and safe,” said ATA President and CEO Bill Graves. “HELP’s PrePass services are a perfect example of the type of innovation that the industry needs in order to save time and streamline the many important safety and regulatory processes.”
HELP’s PrePass electronic pre-screening and bypass system has more than 300 sites in 32 states. PrePass electronically screens carriers’ safety records and credentials before they go out on the road. Information used to screen and determine whether carriers qualify for bypass is subject to security and privacy requirements adopted by HELP’s public-private board of directors.
“With more than 660 million successful bypasses, or green lights, by qualified and enrolled motor carriers, HELP’s PrePass has saved carriers more than 54 million man-hours and 260 million gallons of fuel since we began compiling data in 1997,” said HELP President and CEO Karen Rasmussen. “Our reach, combined with our decades of reliable service, are testament to why we have been named both an ATA featured product and an ATA corporate partner.”
