CSI Leasing Launches Subsidiaries in Taiwan and Thailand

CSI Leasing, an independent leasing company, expanded its Asia-Pacific operations by opening subsidiaries in Bangkok, Thailand, and Taipei City, Taiwan. This expansion follows the recent launch of CSI Leasing Japan in 2021 and CSI Leasing India in 2020. The company now has subsidiaries in nine countries throughout the Asia-Pacific region and serves customers in more than 50 countries around the world.

The new entities, CSI Leasing Thailand and CSI Leasing Taiwan, will immediately begin servicing CSI’s existing portfolio of global customers and will also seek lease opportunities with local organizations.

CSI Thailand will be managed by Cheng Chiin Ong, CSI’s current managing director and CEO of Asia-Pacific. Chiin has been with CSI for 12 years and has 22 years of leasing experience. She is based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. During her tenure, she has successfully grown the region, including subsidiaries in China, Hong Kong, Japan, Malaysia and Singapore, to be a significant contributor to CSI’s worldwide operations. CSI Taiwan will be managed by Clyde Wang, CSI’s current chief commercial officer for China. Clyde has been with CSI for more than 7 years and is based in Shenzhen, China.

“CSI has been servicing multi-national organizations with subsidiaries in Thailand and Taiwan through our Asian headquarters in Malaysia for several years,” Chiin said. “Having established operations in these countries will make our customer experience even more seamless. Additionally, we believe that local companies in these markets will greatly benefit from CSI’s custom lease solutions, and we see an opportunity for our business in the region to grow.”
