Fleet Advantage’s Davis and Hall Earn CTP Accreditation

Don Davis, senior vice president of national accounts for Fleet Advantage, and Wesley Hall, director of fleet services for Fleet Advantage, both achieved the Certified Transportation Professional (CTP) designation from the National Private Truck Council. The accreditation was presented at the NPTC’s annual conference and exhibition in Cincinnati.

CTP-accredited professionals excel at establishing and managing financial goals, capital investment programs, budgets and operating plans for transportation companies. CTP accreditation also equips professionals with the highest level of industry understanding of total cost of ownership (TCO), including truck specification, operations, maintenance, safety and human resources.

Davis has served private fleets in North America for nearly three decades. He manages client relationships for Fleet Advantage, with more than 85% of clients fitting into the food supply chain industry and distribution verticals. Davis has helped clients align with broader supply chain strategies by driving cost savings, reshaping clients’ asset lifecycle strategies and helping supply chain organizations realize and achieve new environmental, social and governance (ESG) goals that help reduce emissions and the overall carbon footprint.

Hall has more than 16 years of experience in fleet management, operations and maintenance in the transportation industry. As a member of the fleet operations team at Fleet Advantage, he supports private fleets in the United States by helping to develop practices suited for maintenance programs and individual locations utilizing analytics resources such as Fleet Advantage’s ATLAAS (Advanced Truck Lifecycle Administrative Analytics Software).

Hall’s experience in recruiting technicians, training and providing support while facilitating communication and coordination with operations helps establish communication between departments and management. He is Six Sigma Green Belt certified and received a Certification for Essentials of Fleet Maintenance Management from the North American Transportation Management Institute in partnership with the University of Central Florida.

Currently, everyone on Fleet Advantage’s fleet operations team has achieved their CTP accreditation and the company continues to support and encourage all new staff to pursue the accreditation.

“Our continued dedication and strong focus on serving the country’s top corporate fleets begins with having a team of committed professionals who possess superior knowledge within the industry,” Brian Holland, president and CFO of Fleet Advantage, said. “We congratulate both Don and Wes for their accomplishment and the hard work they’ve undergone to obtain this professional designation.”
