Gateway First Bank expanded its operations to the Oklahoma City, OK, market, as the bank’s commercial banking team opened an office with a new team, which includes Jeb Cook and Bryan Geiger. Both bankers joined Gateway with more than two decades of experience in the banking and financial services industry.
Cook will serve as Gateway’s new Oklahoma City market president of commercial banking. The majority of Cook’s professional experience has occurred in the Oklahoma market. He specializes in commercial banking (including healthcare), commercial real estate, and commercial and industrial loans. He is currently on the executive council for the Jim Thorpe Association and on the boards of Citizens Caring for Children, the Oklahoma Zoological Society and the Metro Area Development Corporation (MADCO), which are all nonprofits in Oklahoma City.
Geiger joined Gateway as senior vice president of commercial real estate. His previous experience spans commercial real estate finance and lending, real estate banking, and securitized commercial mortgage lending. Geiger is a current member and past president of the Commercial Real Estate Council of Oklahoma City and is on the board of Citizens Caring for Children. He is also a member of the Urban Land Institute and a foster parent to a number of pets from the Bella Foundation.
“We are thrilled to expand our team into new markets, and having Bryan and Jeb with their years of experience will be invaluable to us,” Charlie Crouse, senior vice president and commercial banking executive for Gateway First Bank, said. “In 2019, Gateway transformed into a full-service bank and made a commitment to serve our communities by offering top-notch products and services. These new appointments further that commitment. I look forward to them being integral members of the Gateway team.”
